Diving into solutions with ancient wisdom and modern science

The fight for a sustainable water future just got a powerful new weapon: storytelling.

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) isn't new to this battle. In 2020, they joined forces with the Brave Blue World Foundation to create the inspiring documentary "Brave Blue World." This film highlighted innovative solutions to water challenges, and WEF viewed  its optimism as a key to inspiring change.

"Brave Blue World" was just the beginning. Now, WEF and the Brave Blue World Foundation are back again with a new documentary, "Our Blue World - A Water Odyssey," premiering on Earth Day 2024. This film takes a unique approach, exploring how ancient wisdom can be combined with modern technology to tackle water challenges. With a fresh perspective,  exciting possibilities for a sustainable water future are explored.

But "Our Blue World" isn't just about innovative ideas. It will also showcase the inspiring individuals who advocate for reconnecting with traditional water knowledge. These practices often align perfectly with the principles of a circular economy, where water is reused and recycled for both human and environmental needs.

With cities around the world are facing the harsh realities of sinking land and water scarcity, the urgency of the situation won't be lost on viewers. . "Our Blue World" aims to highlight these pressing issues and spark meaningful conversations that lead to concrete action on water.

This film isn't just preaching to the choir. Through the power of storytelling, it aims to engage everyone – from policymakers and industry leaders to local communities with the goal of working together towards a future where water is managed sustainably,  communities are resilient, and nature thrives.

Mark your calendars for Earth Day 2024 and get ready to dive into "Our Blue World - A Water Odyssey." It's a journey filled with hope, innovation, and the potential to change the way we think about water forever.
